® Any driving done on company business within your own or company owned vehicle <br /> whereas the employee was found to be driving recklessly by a court of law,or <br /> ® If there is any effect on the auto insurance rate of Imperial Western Products,Inc.. <br /> • There will be no driving on company business within your own or company owned <br /> vehicle whereas the employee has a restricted driver's license. <br /> By maintaining a higher standard than the California Department of Motor Vehicles, <br /> considerations of a negligent operator may assist in lowering insurance rates and liability. <br /> The driving record of each Imperial Western Products,Inc.employee who uses their own or a <br /> Imperial Western Products,Inc. owned vehicle for Imperial Western Products,Inc.business is <br /> required to provide written authorization for their Motor Vehicle Records(MVR)to be obtained <br /> and reviewed by Imperial Western Products,Inc.. <br /> III. Use of Coinpauy or Private Vehicles <br /> There will be absolutely no personal use of Imperial Western Products,Inc. company vehicles)for <br /> any personal activities or private business. <br /> There will be absolutely no person(s)operating any Imperial Western Products,Inc.company <br /> vehicle for any purpose other than an employee of Imperial Western Products,Inc.in good <br /> standing. This pertains to family members of said employee. <br /> Whereas an employee is using their own personal vehicle for Imperial Western Products,Inc. <br /> business,the restrictions named in regulations (Section II.)will pertain to continued use for <br /> ( business purposes where liability could be held with Imperial Western Products,Inc.. <br /> IV. Driver Training for hnnerial Western Products,Inc. <br /> There will be annual driver training for all employees of Imperial Western Products,Inc.. This will <br /> include but is not limited to: <br /> a. Vehicle inspections <br /> b. Operational changes <br /> c. New routes <br /> d. Basic cargo handling methods <br /> e. Equipment and government regulations <br /> f. Reinforcement of defensive driving awareness <br /> g. Accident and emergency procedures <br /> All training will be documented. <br /> V. Accident Prevention and investigation <br /> There will be remedial training for drivers who have had serious or repeat accidents to minimize <br /> recurrence. <br />
