TURNER ROAD,
LODI, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
This letter is in response to your concern regarding the need for waste
discharge requirements for wastewater and stormwater runoff discharges from
the Lodi Transfer Station. Based on information provided by San Joaquin
County Public Health Services (County) and the February 1991 Draft
Environmental Impact Report for Lodi Transfer Station (SCH #90020924) prepared
by EBA Wastechnologies, waste discharge requirements are not required at this
time. The wastewaters generated from composting and washdown activities and
the stormwater runoff from these areas are discharged to the City of Lodi
Sewage Treatment Plant via the sanitary sewer system, which is currently
regulated under Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 86-041. Therefore, the
Lodi Transfer Station discharge is considered a regulated discharge and we
will not issue waste discharge requirements at this time.
If you have any questions, please contact Robert Evans at (916) 361-5737.
ROBERT A.
