P ID Z <br /> 4 :2 T H U <br /> CI LOCATIQN AND SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The proposed project location is the same as the current facility as indicated in Figures 1, <br /> 2, and 3. <br /> The site is situated on the north side of Turner Road at the northwest comer of Cluff <br /> Avenue and Turner Road on the east side of Highway 99 in the northeasterly portion of <br /> the City of Lodi. (See Figure 3) <br /> The land is relatively level and slightly above street grade. Curbs, gotters and side-walks <br /> are in place along the Turner Road frontage. City type utilities in th6 form of electricity, <br /> natural gas, water, sewer and storm drainage are available to the site. The site is <br /> afforded the protection of the City of Lodi, police and fire departmeints. <br /> The existing site plan is shown on Figures 4 and 4a and the site plan for the proposed <br /> project is shown on Figures 5 and Sa. As indicated on Figures 5 and 5a, the project will <br /> consist of the following additional buildings and areas. <br /> I. Enclosed tipping floor and processing area (89,000 square feet). <br /> 2. New office building (8,000 square feet). <br /> 3. New maintenance shop (21,000 square feet). <br /> 4. Add itionaLS-.65--acre area for composting operations, container storage and truck <br /> parking, shown on Figure 6. <br /> The following additional equipment will be contained within the 89,000-square-foot <br /> building addition, as indicated on Figure 5. <br /> A. New baler for recyclable material. <br /> B. Amfab refuse compactor. <br /> C. Conveyors for material sorting. <br /> D. Conveyor for wood processing. <br /> E. Wood grinder. <br /> Composting and rock and rubble recovery will be done outside of the building with the <br /> following equipment: <br /> F. Rock and rubble crusher and processing equipment (screen) <br /> G. Compost aerator (Scarab) and screening equipment <br />
