SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Roopa Delapena to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study for her property located at 24222 North Sadlerstone <br /> Drive, Acampo, California. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> Ms. Delapena intends to construct a new four-bedroom home on the Site. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site is defined as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 005-360-15. The parcel is 2.00 <br /> acres in size, and is located at 24222 North Sadlerstone Drive, Acampo, California <br /> (Plate 1). <br /> One home is currently located on the Site (Plate 2). A domestic well and septic system <br /> serve the home. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 55 to 58 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat <br /> (Plate 3). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the Site is zoned R-R, Rural Residential. This zoning <br /> designation "is intended to provide for large lot rural homesites within or adjacent to <br /> existing Rural Communities. Lots will generally have sufficient area to allow for <br /> individual water supply, sewage disposal, and storm water drainage, but not to support <br /> significant commercial agriculture." <br /> LOGE 20-38 Page 1 <br />
