Box 806, Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate a copy of the destination facility signed manifests and send a copy to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD). If the destination facility signed manifests cannot be <br /> found then send to DTSC a copy of each generator signed manifest and a statement that the designated facility <br /> signed copy was not received by the generator. DTSC address is DTSC Report Repository, Generator Information <br /> Services Section, PO Box 806, Sacramento, CA 95812-0806. Provide a corrective action statement to the EHD <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: Two 30-or 55- <br /> gallon black poly drums were observed with their lids placed on top of each drum, but the lid rings were not secured <br /> onto each drum.The drums were storing damaged scented candles, liquid car fragrance refills,fragrance mists and <br /> colognes, lotions, liquid hand and body soaps, anti-bacterial hand sanitizer gels and sprays, aerosol body sprays, <br /> and liquid home fragrance refills. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling:Two <br /> 30-or 55-gallon black poly drums were missing the words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, <br /> hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), and accumulations start date.The drums were storing <br /> damaged scented candles, liquid car fragrance refills,fragrance mists and colognes, lotions, liquid hand and body <br /> soaps, anti-bacterial hand sanitizer gels and sprays, aerosol body sprays, and liquid home fragrance refills. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
