GENERAL SITE SAFETY e <br /> HAZARD ' ASSESSMENT CHART <br /> Hazard Action Hazard Elimination or Risk Reduction Procedure and Proper Protective Equipment <br /> Level <br /> • Support personnel will not position themselves immediately adjacent to the exhaust of any equipment. <br /> • Wearing loose fitting clothing around moving parts of the drill rig and backhoe/bobcat is prohibited . <br /> Level D PPE is required when working around drilling equipment, including hardhats , safety glasses , and steel <br /> toed boots . <br /> Hearing protection is required when working around heavy equipment that produces extended periods of noise in <br /> excess of 85 decibels . <br /> Approved head protection will be worn while operating or working near heavy equipment. <br /> Drilling Including drill . All equipment will be inspected immediately prior to initiation of work to ensure that the machinery is in <br /> Equipment rigs , well proper working order. Damaged or broken machinery will be reported to the site foreman and the <br /> development equipment will be removed from service until it has been properly repaired . <br /> rigs , bucket • All equipment will only be operated by qualified individuals . <br /> augers , and • All equipment will be operated in a safe manner and used for no other purpose than what it was designed <br /> Geoprobes for.
