If the destination facility signed manifests cannot be <br /> found then send to DTSC a copy of each generator signed manifest and a statement that the designated facility <br /> signed copy was not received by the generator. DTSC address is DTSC Report Repository, Generator Information <br /> Services Section, PO Box 806, Sacramento, CA 95812-0806. Provide a corrective action statement to the EHD <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> 1.A 30-or 55-gallon black poly drum was observed with its lid placed on top of the drum, but the lid ring was not <br /> secured onto the drum.The drum was storing damaged liquid hand and body soaps, lotions, anti-bacterial hand <br /> sanitizer gels, scented candles, and fragrance mists. <br /> 2.A tote labeled with the words"State Regulated &Toxics"and "candles"was observed with its lid open. The tote <br /> was storing damaged scented candles, hand soaps,fragrance mists, and fragrance wall plug-ins. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
