A N J O A Q U IN Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> TRACY CHEVROLET 3400 AUTO PLAZA WAY, TRACY November 02, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 403 CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed in the tank room: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with waste antifreeze observed with non-secure lid for bunghole and funnel for container <br /> not closed. <br /> The following was observed in the scrap metal area: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used absorbent observed with non-secure lid. <br /> The following was observed in the main shop: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with non-secure lid. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used metal oil filters observed with non-secure lid. <br /> The following was observed in the metal shaving area: <br /> -One 5-gallon bucket with metal fines observed with no lid. <br /> The following was observed in the tire maintenance area: <br /> -One 55-gallon bucket with used metal oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> The following was observed in the service area adjacent to office entrance: <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> -One 55-gallon container with used metal oil filters observed with no lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
