As previously discussed, there are homeless people at the site, but they do not have a means to
open the drums.
As Dawn and I have done on some previous projects, the City and/or LEA has been helpful and able to
arrange for waste disposal (e.g., no tipping fees)at a local landfill providing it meets waste criteria
acceptance. I suspect some of the wastes, if burned, will likely have elevated metals. Wastes may or may
not be able to go to one facility.
Dawn asked whether expedited analytical testing should be implemented and was planning on discussing
with Sabra.
I was planning to discuss options on Monday with Sabra and Robert. We could have Pacific States or
Woodward transport to local facility if acceptable and/or we can always have drums picked up. We have 90
days.
Beth S.Abramson-Beck, P.G. 4580
Principal Geologist
Ninyo& Moore
Geotechnical&Environmental Sciences Consultants
5710 Ruffin Road
San Diego,CA 92123
(858)576-1000(x1259)
(858)576-9600(Fax)
(858)472-0539(Cell)
babramsonbeck@ninyoandmoore.com
Experience.
