River Road, Escalon. At the time of inspection, a cement pad was being
poured and finished with intent to erect a structure (with utility lines)to enhance the existing Police Firing Range.
Upon discussion of the matter with my Program Coordinator, Robert McClellon, the Environmental Health
Department is requiring that this project activity ceases until it is determined that the land upon which the project
is taking place does not lie within the site of the closed city dump. At this time we are requiring that a plan be
submitted to the Department for excavation of the ground around the project area to determine if contents of the
closed city dump lie underneath the project site. This exploratory activity is to be done under supervision of the
Department.
If you have any questions regarding this matter feel free to contact me.
Jenni Frase, REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 E.
