1
throughout the lot will used to accomplish this. Once again, care will be exercised not to
disturb the existing soil topography.
Phase IV: Along the back and side perimeters of the triangular lot, after the elevation is
increased by compacted native soil and sand, a 3 " thick sidewalk will be poured to
accommodate the necessary track for moving target functionality. The installation of this
sidewalk will again not disturb the existing topographical soil.
Phase V: Toward the back area of the firing range, the high dirt embankment which has
historically received weapon discharge will be covered with a rubber material to capture
and recover projectile fire typically consisting of lead.
Phase VI : The next phase of the project will be to add two more 10 ' X 12 ' pads
immediately adjacent to the control tower consisting of a 4" thick pad (thinner than the
tower pad). This area will be eventually covered to accommodate picnic tables for
weapons cleaning and training.
Phase VII: The final phase of the project will be to install a flag pole to warn of
impending weapons fire for safety. There will be a modest excavation for this flag pole;
however, the area of installation will be in close proximity to the adjacent road on the
extreme edge of the lot likely not even considered a part of the parcel. The foundation
for this pole will be 3 ' - 4 ' deep with rebar reinforcement for stability.
