0 <br />• <br />Equipment safety training pertaining to the use of the compost machine, <br />tractors, loaders, and other equipment required to accomplish the task. <br />Safety equipment required or recommended; safety glasses, dust masks or <br />respirators, ear plugs if in proximity of machinery, and appropriate attire for <br />the job. <br />Safety training prior to using any chemicals or disinfectants, reviewing <br />labels, proper safety equipment, and material safety data sheets. <br />Decontamination facilities will be inspected and available with a hand or <br />body wash station. <br />An emergency evacuation route plan will be drafted, implemented and <br />posted. <br />Emergency numbers will be posted in highly noticeable areas. <br />All personnel will be trained prior to becoming involved in the composting <br />process. All training will be documented and the records will be kept at the <br />office. This training will be carried at least once a year. New employees will <br />be safety trained prior to beginning work at the compost facility. <br />
