RANCH NAME <br />SKS Enterprises, Inc. - Brandt Road Facility - San Joaquin County <br />SITE LOCATION <br />The Brandt Road Facility is east of the town of Lockeford as it transitions from <br />the valley floor to the low foothills (Figure 1). From Highway 99, take the Victor <br />Road / Highway 12 east exit. Go east towards Lockeford. At the Highway 12 / <br />Highway 88 intersection go north (left) towards Lockeford. Prior to Lockeford, <br />take a right (east) on Brandt Road. Continue on Brandt Road until it dead ends. <br />Follow the SKS signs to the left. <br />Portions of sections 29, 31, & 32, Township 5 North, Range 7 East of the USGS 7.5 <br />- minute Clements and Wallace topographic quadrangles (Figure 2). <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />The majority of the project site is a year round 700,000 bird capacity poultry <br />operation. This operation sits on approximately 763 +/- acres and consists of <br />several poultry houses and associated waste water storage ponds, employee <br />houses, office, egg processing plant, storage buildings, and a woody block. <br />Annual rangeland with scattered oaks and associated seasonal wetlands make <br />up the remainder of the land not utilized by actual poultry operation (Figure 3). <br />The site is bound on the north by KRC Aggregate and annual rangeland, on the <br />east and west by annual rangeland, on the south by Brandt Road and ore annual <br />rangeland. There are a few ranchette homes within the annual range sites. The <br />Mokelumne Aqueduct is piped and runs through the site from east to west. <br />Elevations at the site are approximately 250 to 350 feet above sea level. The <br />average annual precipitation is approximately 17 inches per year. <br />R] <br />
