We are currently using one pit. Our compost has been taken to the
FGL on a couple of occasions for testing. I have included a copy of the latest test results.
We currently have a 50150 mixture of manure and shavings be mixed each day. I'm
estimating 8 yards of manure and 8 yards of shavings for a total of 16 yards daily with
an allowance of 25% shrinkage. This leaves 12 yards of composting material daily.
One pit will produce 5000 yards of compost in 416 days or 14 months.
Sincerely,
WeenCSu, eneral Manager
