• 40 <br />Use of a dry field or dry pad constitutes disposal of waste which is prohibited by San Joaquin <br />County ordinance. Remove all references to the dry field or dry pad. <br />9. Page 8 of the MMP, "Manure Storage," states that "Detailed records will be maintained for all <br />application of animal waste to land owned and operated by the producer." Application of <br />animal waste to land is restricted to cropland at agronomic rates. The operator must <br />demonstrate that a crop is being grown and that the amount of animal waste application is at an <br />agronomic rate. <br />The EHD cannot approve the Manure Management Plan or the Odor Impact Minimization Plan at this <br />time. <br />Submit a revised MMP and OIMP to the EHD within thirty (30) days. <br />Direct questions to Garrett Backus, REHS at (209) 468-2986 <br />Garrett Backus, RENS <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
