This operation sits on approximately 763 +/- acres and consists
of several poultry houses and associated waste water storage ponds,
employee houses, office, egg processing plant, storage buildings, and a
woody block. Annual rangeland with scattered oaks and associated seasonal
wetlands make up the remainder of the land not utilized by the actual
poultry operation (Figure 3). The woody block consists of rows of trees that
are completely encased with a soil berm around it. This area holds excess
rain runoff water from Honen's 7 through 10. The trees will uptake the
water in this basin. The site is bound on the north by KRC Aggregate and
annual rangeland, on the east and west by annual rangeland, on the south by
Brandt Road and more annual rangeland. There are a few ranchette homes
within some of the annual range sites. The Mokelumne Aqueduct is piped
and runs through the site from east to west. Elevations at the site are
approximately 250 to 350 feet above sea level. The average annual
precipitation consists of approximately 17 inches per year.
LAND USE
LAND USE & ANIMALS ON-SITE
Poultry Facility: Chicks / Pullets / Layer Hens
Annual Rangeland: Feeder Steers c, `
F
\V
V;
