1A Maintenance of the Plan <br />This Contingency Plan will be amended, as necessary, to ensure that it is current and reflects <br />actual Facility response practices. It is reviewed by Site 300 management, Weapons and <br />Complex Integration (WCI) Site 300 Operations, and Radioactive and Hazardous Waste <br />Management (RHWM) on an annual basis. It is immediately amended whenever: <br />• The LLNL Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Part B Permit <br />Application is revised or the issued permit is significantly modified and impacts this <br />Contingency Plan. <br />• Applicable federal or state regulations are revised. <br />• The Contingency Plan fails in an emergency. <br />• A Facility changes its design, construction, operation, maintenance, or other <br />circumstances in a such way that the potential is increased for fires, explosions, or <br />releases of hazardous or toxic waste, or in such a way that a change in the emergency <br />response is necessary. <br />• The list of emergency coordinators changes. <br />• The list of emergency equipment changes. <br />2.0 FACILITY DESCRIPTIONS <br />Four separate, permitted Hazardous Waste Facilities are located at LLNL Site 300: the CSA, the <br />EWTF, EWSF and the closed B-829 Facility. Operated by the Weapons and Complex <br />Integration (WCI) Site 300 Operations, the EWTF and the EWSF are used to manage explosives <br />hazardous waste material. Operated by RHWM, the CSA is used to manage all other non - <br />explosives hazardous waste generated at Site 300. <br />2.1 General Information <br />Site Operators: 1.
