I did not observe windblown materials leaving the
unloading area on the day of my inspect-ion.
(See Photos 11-2-14, 11-3-12)
17704 - leachate Control
I did not observe any leachate on or off the site on the day of
my inspection. (See Areas of Concern above)
17705 - Gas Control
I measured for landfill gas using a landfill gas detector and a
bar hole punch on the day of my inspection. I did not detect
landfill gas in or around the buildings that were situated within
1000 feet of buried garbage.
17707 - Drainage and Erosion Control
I did not observe any erosion on the day of my inspection.
Erosion noted on the first Presley Inspection was repaired.
CONCLUSIONS
The City of Tracy Landfill has made improvements since the first
Presley Inspection. There are however some outstanding
violations that need to be addressed and corrected before the
third Presley Inspection. Mary Coyle of our Compliance Section
will be contacting the Local Enforcement Agency and the operators
to aid you in correcting all outstanding violations.
Waste Management Specialist
