In view of <br /> the impending closure of this facility, it is recommended that a <br /> closure/post closure plan be submitted. See the enclosed copy of <br /> AB 2448 . <br /> INDETERMINATES <br /> We are unable to make a determination on the compliance with the <br /> following sections <br /> Section 17704 - Leachate Control <br /> Although leachate or seepage was not observed at the site during <br /> this investigation, it was noted on the last Board staff <br /> inspection report that the facility had not yet submitted the <br /> SWAT Report and Closure Plan required by the RWQCB. A <br /> determination of the Leachate standard cannot be made until <br /> copies of those reports are received. <br /> CORRECTIONS IMPLEMENTED <br /> Section 17682 - Cover <br /> The site received proper daily cover. <br /> Section 17686 - Scavenging <br /> Unauthorized scavenging was not observed. <br /> Section 17707 - Vector and Bird Control <br /> Neither I nor the LEA noted any vector nuisance at the time of <br /> the investigation. <br /> Section 17751 - Litter Control <br /> I did not observe any excessive litter on or off site (the active <br /> area was well confined and was located in the bottom of the pit <br /> during this visit) . A litter crew was working the site at the <br /> time of the investigation. <br /> Wa to Management Specialist <br />
