being given a description of the materials and situation, the <br />Health District gives directions to the supervisor or proceeds <br />to the site if necessary and provides direction for emergency <br />removal of the waste in question. The supervisor also notifies <br />the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services concerning <br />the incident. The supervisor then arranges for immediate <br />removal and ultimate disposal by the City's Hazardous Waste <br />Contractor as directed by the Local Health District. <br />Experience at the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill to date <br />indicates that generally most attempts to dispose of hazardous <br />waste at the site involve disposal of drums containing varying <br />amounts of liquid. Under the waste exclusion program described <br />herein, liquid containers greater than five gallons in capacity <br />which may be safely moved will be moved away from the fill area <br />and stored until disposal is accomplished by the responsible <br />party or the City. With the use of the chemical storage locker <br />at the site, barrels will be appropriately tagged when disco- <br />vered, with information as to approximate volume of contents, <br />probable contents of the container if known, date of discovery <br />and responsible party if known and then locked in the storage <br />locker until removed from the site and manifested by a hazardous <br />waste hauler. <br />The City of Tracy will develop a term agreement with a hazardous <br />waste hauler for removal and disposal of discovered hazardous <br />waste. Under this agreement the contracted hauler will load the <br />materials at the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill, perform any <br />■ <br />
