CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL, BOARD" CENTRAL VALLEY REGION ORDER NO. 76-155 WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS FOR CITY OF TRACY CORRAL HOLLOW ROAD CLASS II-2 SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SITE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, (hereafter Board) finds that: 1. The City of Tracy, Corral Hollow Road submitted a report of waste discharge dated 29 December 1969 and a site evaluation report dated 28 November 1972. 2. The City of Tracy discharges Groups 2 and 3 wastes in the SE 1/4 of Section 18, T3S, R5E, MB&M as shown in Attachment "A" incorporated herein and made part of this order. 3. Current plans indicate that 43 acre (17 ha) site will be filled by the cut and cover method. There is no land use planned for the area after completion of the fill. 4. The historic elevation of groundwater is +130 feet (40 m)` USGS Datum, with move- ment to the northeast. 5. This disposal site, if properly operated, will meet the criteria contained in the California Administrative Code, Title 23, Chapter 3, Subchapter 15, for classification as a Class II-2 Disposal Site suitable to receive Group 2 and Group 3 wastes. 6. Surface drainage is to Corral Hollow Creek, an intermittent stream. 7. Beneficial uses of groundwater are: agricultural and domestic supply. 8. Land within 1,000 feet (1,610 km) of this site is used for agricultural grazing, domestic housing, :end a majcr interstate freeway. 9. The Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Basin was adopted on 25 July 1975, and this Order implements the water quality objectives stated in the plan. 10. The Board has notified the discharger and interested agencies and persons of its intent to prescribe waste discharge requirements for this existing discharge. 11. The Board in a public meeting heard and considered all comments pertaining to the discharge.
