Total Firm Pumping Capacity excludes Standby Pump#3 <br /> 4.2.2.2 Hydraulic Model Assumptions—Steady State Analysis <br /> • 12— inch sleeve valve <br /> For the purposes of the hydraulic model, the 12-inch sleeve valve is set to open when the water <br /> level in the surge tank reaches an elevation of 20 feet (4 feet from the FF of the tank) and close at <br /> an elevation of 40 feet which is the invert elevation of the tank's inlet. <br /> • 1.0 MG SSJID Surge Tank Starting Water Level <br /> For the purposes of a steady state hydraulic analysis, the SSJID surge tank is to start full, with a <br /> water level elevation of 39 feet (just below the invert elevation of the tank's inlet). <br /> • SSJID Transfer Pumps <br /> The transfer pumps are designed to turn on or off based on low and high level set points in Phase <br /> BPS 1.5 MG Tank#1. Both the 2,000 GPM pumps will turn on and operate at 100% speed when <br /> the water level in Tank#1 reaches an elevation 20 feet(4 feet from FF)and turn off at an elevation <br /> of 39 feet which is the invert elevation of the tank's inlet. <br /> • 24-inch bypass <br /> Site A does not have enough capacity to handle peak hour demand at full buildout conditions. <br /> When the water level in the Phase I BPS storage tanks reaches a low low water level elevation of <br /> 19 feet (3 feet from FF), a 24-inch electric actuated valve, upstream of the 12-inch sleeve valve, <br /> will open allowing flow from SSJID turnout#2 to flow directly to Phase I BPS storage tanks. <br /> 4.2.3 Sources of Distribution Pressure and Storage — Phase I City of Lathrop Potable Water <br /> Storage and Pump Station at River Islands (Phase I BPS) <br /> The River Islands area of the City's PW distribution system is/will continue to be designed to be pressurized <br /> from the Phase I and the proposed Phase II BPS located within the development. Each of these booster <br /> pump stations will pump stored, on-site PW out to the distribution system based on maintaining a set <br /> pressure range in the system.
