ISD Component Installation Connecting Cables To The Transmitter <br /> Connecting Cables To The Transmitter <br /> Note:The dip switches in each transmitter must be set to the proper dip switch settings listed in Appendix B. If the <br /> dip switches are set incorrectly, this device will fail to operate properly. <br /> 1. Using a#15 torx driver, remove the cover of the Transmitter. <br /> 2. Make sure the battery/DC power cable is not connected to the battery pack(item 7 in Figure 14) or do power <br /> source at this time. <br /> QWARNING!To prevent ignition of flammable or combustible atmosphere disconnect power before <br /> • servicing. <br /> 3. Remove the nut from the probe/sensor cable cord grip (left side cord grip) and slide it over the non-connector <br /> end of the probe/sensor cable. Push the end of the cable into the Transmitter. <br /> 4. Strip back cable jacket and wires as shown in Figure 17. <br /> 5. All probe/sensor cables connect to the PROBE terminal block the SAME WAY-the white wire to the PWR <br /> terminal and the black wire to the GND terminal as shown in Figure 18. <br /> X3/32"(2.4mm) <br /> Figure 17. Both wires must be tight in terminals! <br /> 2. Use a screwdriver with the proper blade width. <br /> 6. Remove the nut from the power cable cord grip (right side cord grip) and slide it over the non-connector end <br /> of the power cable. Push the end of the cable into the Transmitter. <br /> 7.
