Called BNSF dispatch and was referred <br /> to Russ Cole, BNSF Manager.According to Russ,an Estes Express container#ESTU500641 was found containing a <br /> punctured IBC tote of liquid soap,which caused a release of less than 1 pint. Russ states, no soil or drains were impacted, <br /> and a spill to the ground could not be identified due to evaporation of the liquid soap. Russ states, Brandon Eck of Patriot <br /> Environmental conducted the clean-up of the container and sealed the punctured tote to prevent further release of the liquid <br /> soap. Russ states,the affected tote will be transported back to an Estes facility. Russ did not know if any waste was <br /> generated by Patriot Environmental as a result of the spill clean-up. Left Brandon Eck of Patriot a voice message, but have <br /> not received a call back. <br /> Please be advised that the disposal of any waste[HSC 5411]or disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is <br /> prohibited when the disposal is at a facility which is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC <br /> 25189.5(a).]. Please be aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under appropriate hazardous waste manifesting <br /> procedure[HSC 25160(b)(3)]. <br /> Provide the quantity and type of waste generated from this spill clean-up, and the location where the waste was taken, <br /> including the IBC tote of liquid soap,to the EHD.
