Whether any fuel went to the storm drain, 2. If yes, how much fuel went into the storm drain? 3. Provide details on how it was cleaned. He replied to the email and said about a quart made it to the bottom of the strom drain. The storm drain itself is only about 3'deep at most. He added that it definitely did not go through the pipe. The absorbent on the gutter was applied by Tracy Fire Department on the gutter. City of Tracy Public Works lifted the lid off the storm drain and applied absorbent to the storm drain fuel spill area. Then, Public Works performed clean up on both the gutter and the storm drain's fuel-contaminated absorbent with a broom and put in a 5-gallon bucket. On 6-25-20 Changed service code from 544 to 007 per Muniappa Naidu and Elena Manzo. 04/24/2020 Completed Narrative entries 4-22-20 to 4-23-20. MURO 04/27/2020 10:43 am Received a call from Alma Pelayo, property owner, 209-968-1300. MURO She was calling to dispute the claim that the substance that was released was fuel. She said it was false. Someone called the Tracy fire department to report the smell of fuel. She said her husband's car is not leaking fuel and he would never pour fuel onto the gutter or storm drain. She said the smell was from the running car since Antonio Pelayo had just done an oil change and a little oil spilled. He discovered the oil after her washed the car. He used aerosol degreaser to wipe it up. She further added that her neighbors often call authorities to report that their music is too loud. They use profanity towards their dog when it barks. She said that her husband takes the used oil and any used absorbent to Autozone. I told Alma that I will give her statement to my supervisors and call her back. She received a bill for MURO $522 that is due on June 28, 2020. She is calling to dispute having to pay since it was not gasoline that spilled. 06/10/2020 Received phone call from Alma Pelayo 209-968-1300. She was calling to dispute MURO the $522 bill she received from EHD. Discussed with Lead Senior, Elena Manzo. Elena asked me to send her Alma's contact information. 06/18/2020 Received an email on 6/17/20 from Alma Pelayo at almapelayo71@yahoo.com. MURO She is asking that I call her to discuss the$516 (previously she said it was $522) bill she received from EHD. She said she is worried.
