Inland Dr.
Stockton, CA (GPS Coordinates: 37.9024333, -120.834522)
Dear John,
On July 21St, 2020, a contracted certified pesticide applicator with E.E. Hall was transporting a
600-gallon wagon of mixed pesticides to be applied at a farm owned and operated by Trinitas
Farming. While traveling north bound on S. Inland Dr., a rollover occurred, and approximately
250 gallons of the mixed pesticide liquid released from the trailer, spilling into the property
located at 6966 S. Inland Dr., Stockton, CA 95206: GPS Coordinates: 37.9024333,-120.834522
(Figures 1 and 2). Immediately following the roll over, Thomas Robinson with Trinitas Farming
notified the San Joaquin Department of Agriculture and the Department of Environmental Health
of the release.
The released liquid material was a mix of water and the following diluted products,Zara WSB
agricultural miticide (active ingredient etoxazole 72%) Vigilant®4SC insecticide(active
ingredient bifenazate 40%-50%), IntrepidTm 2F insecticide (active ingredient methoxyfenozide
22.6%), Quick Ultra with Awaken®liquid micronutrient, and mineral oil.
1.0 Scope of Work
On July 22, 2020, WHF,Inc. in conjunction with Trinitas Farming, inspected the spill location
and marked out the full extent of the release area(Figure 2 and Attachment A). To investigate
the potential impact to the environment from the release and determine the appropriate response,
a total of nine (9) soil samples were collected; eight(8) from within the perimeter of the spill and
one (1)outside the release area as a background sample. The analytical results obtained during
this investigation were utilized to ascertain the potential impacts to the surrounding environment
and ecology and determine if excavation would be required.
