ALANIZ
8:54 a.m.: Called Brandon Espinoza,All Environmental Services, 209-648-8060.
There was no answer and I could not leave a message.
8:59 a.m.: Received a call from Brandon. Discussed the cleanup. He is going to
be at the site in the afternoon to check the absorbent pads placed inside the
sewer.
11:52 a.m.: Received pictures from Brandon showing the absorbent booms he
had placed. The absorbent booms placed around the outlet looked clean. The
absorbent booms placed inside the storm drain sump were contaminated with
diesel.
Called Brandon. He did not see any diesel on the water in the canal but he
observed diesel inside the storm drain. Brandon is still in the process of trying to
get the equipment needed for the cleanup.
Before leaving the site, Brandon explained that he was going to place more pads
on the water in the storm drain to get more diesel. He sent a message saying the
pads only soaked up a small amount of diesel.
Downloaded the photos Brandon sent and created a photo log with them.
Called Anthony Harb, Safety Manger with McLane. The facility washes trailers on
site which produces a lot of water. Called Brandon to let him know.
06/23/2020 Reviewed 6/18/20 narrative and made corrections, per Elena Manzo. Received an FLORIDO
update on the clean-up from John Alaniz. Read John's narrative.
5105.rpt Page 6 of 11
