MURO <br /> David Carr is part of a team of managers overseeing a project at the Smiths Canal <br /> and is working with Shimmick Construction and San Joaquin Area Flood Control <br /> Agency (SJAFCA). David Carr called my cell phone since I was working with him <br /> on another incident. He wanted to know who he can call to report a portable toilet <br /> floating in the river upstream from the project at Smiths Canal. He was calling us <br /> since the portable toilets have hazardous chemicals. He provided the street <br /> names, Shimizu and Occidental. I asked if he could provide coordinates for the <br /> location. He said the portable toilet was approximately at Latitude 37.959293 <br /> Longitude-121.340727. 1 let him know I would inquire about it and call him back <br /> shortly. He doesn't have anymore information to provide. Additionally, he will not <br /> be available because he will be in a conference for about an hour and a half. <br /> I searched the coordinates on google maps and confirmed the location to be north <br /> of the Smiths Canal project. <br /> I went to consult Lead Senior REHS Haza Saeed, then we went to discuss with <br /> Lead Senior REHS Stacy Rivera and Program Coordinator Melissa Nissim. <br /> Discussed incident with REHS Elianna Florido, who then took over since she is the <br /> C person today. I provided Elianna Florido with David Carr's contact information <br /> and coordinates. <br /> 09/28/2020 Completed 9/25/20 narrative. FLORIDO <br /> 09/28/2020 Generated photo log. FLORIDO <br /> 10/05/2020 Received a call from complainant stating the portable restroom has not been FLORIDO <br /> removed from Smith Canal. Called United Site Services (1-800-TOILETS) and <br /> spoke to Steven (ext 72714) who took down the information regarding the portable <br /> restroom and stated he would talk to his operations department to see if there was <br /> anything they could do, and he will give me a call back. <br /> Updated Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS. <br /> Called 2-1-1, San Joaquin County Call Center and was transferred to City of <br /> Stockton's main number(937-8460), then was transferred to City of Stockton's <br /> Manager's Office (937-8212), then was transferred to City of Stockton Public <br /> Works(937-8411), then to City of Stockton's Public Works Corp Yard (937-8341), <br /> then to Jose Fegerosa of City of Stockton Community Enhancement(937-8341 <br /> ext 8140). Left Jose a voice message to give me a call back regarding the <br /> portable restroom found in the waterway. Called Fish &Wildlife Warden Sam <br /> Schutz and updated him on my actions. Sam stated he will give United Site <br /> Services a call to follow up with them and let me know what they say. <br /> Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo. <br /> Called and spoke to Richard Stifler(209-993-3274) of City of Stockton <br /> Stormwater. Richard referred me to Connie Cockrin, City of Stockton Public <br /> Information Officer(209-629-1251). Called and left Connie a voice message <br /> regarding the complaint.
