Subject: Attachment 1—Scope of Work Description <br /> Project Task: San Joaquin County Encroachment Permit Application <br /> Prepared for: San Joaquin County Department of Public Works <br /> Prepared by: California Department of Water Resources <br /> Date: September 2, 2020 <br /> 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> The California Department of Water Resources proposes to perform 12 cone penetration tests (CPT) at <br /> various locations within San Joaquin county right-of-way (ROW). The CPTs will consist of pushing a 1.5- <br /> inch-diameter conical probe vertically into the ground to a maximum depth of 200 feet. Disturbance of <br /> ground will be limited to the vertical axis.The estimated time to complete each location is 8 hours, after <br /> which traffic control devices,where applicable,will be removed. <br /> The specific CPT locations, utility clearance process, traffic control measures, and backfill methodology <br /> are described in Section 1.1.1,Section 1.1.2,Section 1.1.3 and Section 1.1.4, respectively. <br /> 1.1.1 CPT Locations <br /> The CPT locations, as well as traffic control requirements for each, are provided in the table below.
