FACILITY DOES NOT USE A GREASE <br /> TRAP/GREASE INTERCEPTOR. GREASE IS DUMPED DOWN THE DRAIN." <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Dried rodent droppings were observed in the dry goods storage area downstairs(on shelves and on top <br /> of red serving trays). Immediately clean up dried rodent droppings,then clean and sanitize the affected area(s). Monitor the <br /> area routinely for new activity and take action as needed. Use only commercial grade/food safe rodent control measures(no <br /> open bait boxes). <br /> A routine pest control service is recommended. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Employee on site is not aware of the complaint. <br /> Per employee,the facility does not pour grease/oil down the drain. Per employee, the facility places the grease/oil from the <br /> kitchen in a metal container which is then placed downstairs under the awning behind a locked gate until it is picked up by the <br /> rendering company. Per employee, she is unaware which rendering company is utilized. There is also an external (above <br /> grade)grease trap downstairs by the fuel tanks. She is unsure whether this grease trap is utilized. <br /> Per employee, she is unsure whether there is currently a rodent problem.
