Inspec#iori ire ork Cbrnment§ .. ° <br /> Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. Previous violation regarding the feedstock piles not being continuously monitored for temperature has been <br /> corrected. Documentation showing continuous monitoring was available for review. <br /> 2. There was separation between the unscreened greenwaste received and the stockpiled greenwaste. <br /> 3. The odor and fly population was light. Dust was minimal. The water truck was observed on site. <br /> 4. All records were available for review. <br /> 5. Facility is awaiting the test results for the latest compost sample submitted. *Note that the operator <br /> on 7/6/15 emailed a copy of the test results. The results showed that the compost product met the <br /> state standards. <br /> 6. The temperature range of the greenwaste and ground material was 90 F to 100 F and 103 F to 114 F <br /> respectively. The temperature range of the windrows was 114 F to 120 F. The temperature range <br /> of the pre-screened product and the screened product was 121 F to 123 F and 112 F to 140 F <br /> respectively. The temperature of the overs and hogfuel was 108 F and 99 F respectively. <br /> 7. There are piles of pre-screened product near the north perimeter fence, along Frewert Road. It is <br /> recommended that piles not be stored so close to the perimeter fence so as to prevent a possible <br /> scenario where the public could ignite the piles. <br />
