Include the name and phone number of the person <br />to which it was referred. <br />r Disposal of shredded waste tires should be included in the <br />inspection report as a notation. <br />Article 5.5, Section 17355(b) states " All waste tires stored at <br />a solid waste facility shall meet the requirements in this <br />Article." <br />Article 5.5 includes Sections 17350 - Scope; 17351 -.Fire <br />Prevention Measures; 17352 - Facility Access and Security; <br />17353 — Vector Control Measures; 17354 - Storage of Waste Tires; <br />17356- Indoor Storage. <br />It is my intention that the waste tire facility inspection <br />program currently being developed will also include guidelines <br />for the evaluation of the above regulations as they may be <br />applied to waste tire storage at solid waste facilities <br />(landfills, transfer/processing stations, composting and <br />transformation facilities). As an interim measure please discuss <br />all preliminary.findings of noncompliance of the above sections <br />with your section supervisor. <br />LEAs shall be notified <br />LEA Advisory, the issue <br />guidelines will also be <br />subsequent issue.
