Complaint Investigation Summary Report#:5105 <br /> COMPLAINT ID: CO0052034 Site Location: 3817 RYDE AVE <br /> Activity Summary <br /> Activity Date Recorded by <br /> 07/16/2020 Called tenant to see if any work had been completed on the house, he said no. He LINDSAY <br /> said they had someone come by but he wouldn't come through the door. I asked <br /> for the owner's number and found it within the paperwork. I let him know that if I <br /> don't get ahold of anyone then I will discuss doing another inspection. <br /> Calle <br /> Left a voicemai in ro ucing myself and why I was calling. Asked for some <br /> information on who to contact. <br /> -called me back and let me know they received our paperwork and just <br /> had the roof inspected yesterday and got a quote, they are having a pest guy <br /> come out next week, and a handy man to take care of the rest of the problems. I <br /> let her know that she didn't need to redo the roof but maybe nail the gutters in <br /> more. They said that they would like to get the roof inspected anyways because <br /> they plan on selling the property in January. She was concerned about a lien on <br /> the property, I let her know this was non chargeable and would go to property tax. I <br /> gave her my email address and asked her to email me reports or pictures once <br /> everything is completed. <br /> 08/17/2020 Received a call from He said the owner hasn't gotten anything done. He LINDSAY <br /> said an inspector was here for 4 hours and didn't do anything. He said he kills a <br /> mouse a day. I told him I would cal�and discuss what is going on and give <br /> him a call back. Also gave him Fair Housings number as he was wondering what <br /> his rights were as a tenant and if he should be paying rent. <br /> Called informed her of what said and asked for an update. She <br /> said she had someone go over and take care of the roof and=yelled at them <br /> and told them to get off his roof. She has sent over contractors and hes been <br /> agressive that no one wants to go over there. I asked her to email receipts and <br /> information that I could look over. Gave her my work email address. I asked if they <br /> were at a stand still or planning on evicting him said no, they do not plan <br /> on evicting him and she is unsure who he heard that from. I let her know I would <br /> look over what she is going to send me and I will calOW back later and try to <br /> encourage him to let contractors in to do the job. <br /> Received paperwork frorrlikIMM stating that contractors felt threatened by <br /> tenant. <br /> Called and let him know what I heard from._ became <br /> aggressive and denied it all. He said,4919M is a liar. I told him I am not the <br /> middle man I am just trying to find a solution so the violations are corrected. He <br /> kept going on and on about how people come over but no one does anything and <br /> they don't respect his work schedule. I let him know that the two need to work on <br /> their communication and speak calmly.@W did not seem interested in that idea. <br /> He kept cutting me off and talking over me when I would suggest a solution. I let <br /> him know I would letj�know that progress might be made if they worked <br /> with you on the work schedule but in the end I told mark he needs to call marlene <br /> and work with her. <br /> 08/20/2020 Calledg�to discuss what happened with=the other day. I asked ifs LINDSAY <br /> had contacted her. She said he sent a letter via email stating that the place is <br /> going to be red tagged. I informed her I have no plans to red tag the duplex. I let <br /> her know I attempted to have-work with her and informed him that you guys <br /> had hing but nice things to say about him and he kept cutting me off. I let <br /> know that I basicall told him to communicate with and work with <br /> her an the contractors" the lawyers won't even talk to him because <br /> he is hostile.
