OCTOEE€4 2012 HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM <br />CORE TEARR TRAINING GUIDE <br />Note: In addition to mandatory annual training through the Hands -On Safety Training <br />Program, periodic training assignments may be distributed through our electronic Learning <br />Management System (LMS). Copies of these training assi <br />Mgnments and corresponding sign - <br />offs will be maintained in the LMS and can be accessed anytime an inspector requests <br />training history. <br />Agency inspection reports <br />Stores are required to keep all agency inspection reports for 3 years. Retain completed rq <br />reports in the Agency Inspection Reports tab of the Hazardous Waste Program binder, in <br />date -order with the most recent report at the front. As needed, discard any reports older <br />than three years in the appropriate shred receptacle. <br />It is also recommended that you maintain a blank copy of the appropriate inspection <br />reports) in the Agency Inspection Reports tab for reference. If you do not have a blank <br />report for your area, contact Compliance. (Refer to the end of this guide for contact <br />information.) <br />Manifests <br />Stores are required to keep manifests for 3 years. Retain manifests in the Manifests tab of <br />your Hazardous Waste Program binder, in date -order with the most recent manifest at the <br />front. After receiving the disposal copy manifest of the most recent pickup, move any <br />manifest older than three years into a hanging file or binder in the Manager's office. <br />®ally Hazardous Waste and Reclamation Inspection forms <br />Stores are required to keep completed inspection forms for 3 years. Keep the form for the <br />current week on a clipboard in the accumulation area. Retain completed forms in the Daily <br />Inspection Forms tab of the Hazardous Waste Program binder, in date -order with the most <br />recent form at the front. At the end of each week, discard any form older than three years in <br />the appropriate shred receptacle. <br />Hazardous Materials Business Plan <br />The Hazardous Materials Business Plan is astore-specific document used by first <br />responders should an incident or emergency occur at your store. It declares what type of <br />business your store is, what potentially hazardous materials are in your store, and where <br />they are located.
