See Contacts section below. <br />• <br />Use personal protective equipment (EX: safety googles, gloves and apron) when handling HAZMAT. <br />• <br />Use the process below to handle unsellable hazardous materials (HAZMAT) merchandise that is: <br />o Damaged <br />o Defective <br />o Expired <br />Note: Team Members are not permitted to purchase these items. <br />• <br />When disposing of HAZMAT materials: <br />o Use absorbent when applicable to aid in clean up. <br />o Use zippered bags to contain all items used to clean the spill and place in the Hazardous Waste Box. <br />o Do not dispose of items in store trash. <br />o Do not pour them down the drain. <br />o Do not return them to the DC. <br />• <br />When a hazardous item is returned by a customer, received or found damaged, or is otherwise unsellable, move <br />the damaged item to the Destroy in Field account to remove it from the store inventory.
