Telephone: (209)852-8010 <br /> Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00053512 <br /> Responsible Party Contact: <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> ON THURSDAY 2/25, COMPLAINANT PURCHASED A CHURIZO, EGG, POTATO,AND CHEESE BURRITO AT <br /> AROUND 12:30 PM.AT 7:00 PM THAT SAME DAY, COMPLAINANT STARTED EXPERIENCING DIARRHEA, PAIN IN <br /> LOWER BACK AND NAUSEA. ON SATURDAY, WENT TO HOSPITAL AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SALMONELLA. <br /> MONDAY, COMPLAINANT EXPERIENCED BLOODY STOOL. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The prep cooler used at the steam table line is currently at the temperature of 45F.All cooling <br /> temperatures must be within the range of 41 F or below.All potentially hazardous food items were removed and placed into <br /> ice baths. Correct prep cooler immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175).All utensils and equipment <br /> shall be approved,installed properly,and meet applicable standards. Provide to ensure <br /> proper warming and cooling temperatures are maintained during the operational day. Correct immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br /> available to the food handler. A thermometer+/-2#F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br /> and high temperature warewashing machines.
