Item 208: On your inspection report you noted that the designated operator failed to document all alarms
from the attached alarm history from 03/03/2021. You requested that all alarms be reported and checked
to confirm correct response.
Resolution 208: 7-Eleven’s process is for all fuel sensing (liquid) alarms to be dispatched
immediately to the assigned Service Provider. In reviewing the s13 no vacuum alarm with our
Alarm Management Team, known as Insight360 (a subgroup within Gilbarco Veeder Root), they
noted the alarm triggered and then appeared to have self-cleared within 1 minute. It was due to
the apparent resetting and the monitoring system returning to an “All Functions Normal” status,
that this alarm did not get dispatched. It was later determined during the 04/27/2021 witnessed
monitoring certification that this sensor needed to be, and was, replaced. Due to this incident,
Insight360 is currently reviewing this internally and discussing with their teams. As for why the
monitoring system returned to an All Functions Normal status versus some other trouble code, 7-
Eleven has reported this to Veeder Root for their internal review as well.
Item 210: On your inspection report you noted that the Mann Singh was not designated operator trained
and was the only employee onsite. You requested that all facility employees be trained by the designated
operator.
Resolution 210: The designated operator trained Mann Singh on 05/07/2021. The training roster has
been attached for your reference.
Item 307: On your inspection report you noted that there was water found in STP sumps for all products.
You requested that all sumps be sealed against water intrusion by a licensed contractor.
Resolution 307: The sump gaskets were inspected by Walton engineering on 05/22/21. Work order and
photos attached for your reference.
Item 302: On your inspection report you noted that the 91 s12 and s14 smart sensors failed when tested.
You requested that both sensors be replaced by a licensed contractor and retested.
Resolution 302: On 05/05/2021 Walton Engineering replaced both sensors and Tanknology will retest
on 05/28/2021, the test report will be sent once the test is completed. See attached work order.
This letter should address the item(s) noted on the Inspection Report. 7-Eleven assumes that all issues
regarding this report have been resolved and are closed at this time.
