Site preparation will be consistent with County BMPs and the S JVAPCD rules for dust control. Dust-minimizing techniques will be employed, such as placement of wind control fencing, application of water, and application of dust suppressants. Noise Describe on-site sources of noise or vibration that may result from the proposed project: INloise-generating construction activities will be limited to Monday through Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The contractor will conduct construction activities in such a manner that the maximum noise levels at the affected buildings will not exceed established noise levels. Project operation will entail minimal noise typically associated with electrical equipment. Describe any machinery, equipment, or transportation noise that may result from the proposed project: During construction,deliveries of equipment and materials will generate an estimated five to seven 1roundtrips per day during peak construction periods. Construction is expected to take approximately 6 Ito 8 months during which equipment would generate short-term noise. Project operation will entail minimal noise typically associated with electrical equipment. Light and Glare Describe any on-site sources of light and/or glare that may result from the proposed project: Permanent motion-sensitive, directional security lights will be installed to provide adequate illumination around the substation area and points of ingress/egress. All lighting will be shielded and directed downward to minimize the potential for glare or spillover onto adjacent properties. Security cameras will be placed on site and monitored 7 days a week and 24 hours per day. Odor Describe any on-site source of odor that may result from the proposed project: The project will not entail air emissions or other odor-generating components during operation.
