Pock Lane Residential Traffic Impact Study
trip distribution.Trip distribution assumptions for the proposed development project were developed
based on the existing travel patterns,TJKM's knowledge of the study area, and input by County staff. The
distribution assumptions for the proposed project are as follows:
45 percent to/from SR-99 north and south, and Mariposa Road to the south
• 20 percent to/from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway to the west and B Street to the north
Five percent to/from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway to the east and Mariposa Road to the
• Five percent to/from SR-4/Farmington Road to the east
10 percent to/from 81" Street to the west
• 15 percent to/from Pock Lane to the south
As the proposed project consists of three separate groups of homes with separate access points, trip
assignment for each group of homes was performed separately, and these assignments were then
combined to produce the overall project trip assignment. It was conservatively assumed that all vehicles
from 3009 Pock Lane would use Pock Lane. Figure 8 illustrates the trip distribution and trip assignment at
the study intersections. The project trips were then added to traffic volumes under Existing Conditions to
generate Existing plus Project Conditions traffic volumes.
4J.KM Page 125
