Gave me the contact information for GAITAN <br />James Farner, hazmat field manager for BNSF. <br />Contacted James, he stated that lime powder was released from a hopper/shoot <br />that was not closed. He stated that the hopper holds up 5,000 cubic feet of lime, <br />but he believes a lot less was released. He stated that an approximately <br />8-inch-wide trail of lime were released on to the train tracks within the Stockton <br />Rail Yard. He mentioned that he is working on getting the SDS for the lime <br />powder; he does not believe the lime powder is a hazardous material. Contracted <br />Patriot Environmental, to conduct clean up. James stated that lime has been <br />contained and that they will be recovering the lime powder as a product, if <br />possible.
