Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />October 09, 2020 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 3807 Coronado Ave, Stockton <br /> Facility Name: <br /> Sprint United Managemnt Co. <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br />OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br />years during the inspection. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in <br />accordance with section 66262.23(a) for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the <br />designated facility which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years <br />from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years, going back to 10/9/17, for all <br />hazardous waste including diesel contaminated absorbents, acid spill cleanup wastes, and diesel contaminated <br />test waters. Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br />---------- <br />OBSERVATION: Designated facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests (UHWM) <br />were not found on-site. The missing manifests are: <br />-Manifest #020623418JJK (10/7/19) <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in <br />accordance with section 66262.23(a) for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the <br />designated facility which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years <br />from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit a <br />copy of the manifest to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) within 60 days if the <br />destination facility signed manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate the the destination facility signed manifests listed above and maintain in the <br />facility file for three years from the date of shipping.
