Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />October 09, 2020 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 3807 Coronado Ave, Stockton <br /> Facility Name: <br /> Sprint United Managemnt Co. <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: A plastic jug containing dark liquid was observed capturing releases from Generator 4. A hose <br />was attached to the jug near the top, draining directly to the ground. Dark, oily staining was observed on the <br />ground under the jug. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean all stained areas and stop the drainage of oily releases to the ground.. <br />Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement <br />and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage <br />and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />OBSERVATION: The containers of eyewash expired on 3/2020. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br />assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eyewash stations into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. <br />Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />FA0003819 PR0527582 SC001 10/09/2020 <br />EHD 22-01 Rev. 9/16/2020 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIRPage 7 of 8 <br />1868 E.
