SIC has been in the process of delineating the plume. Before the end
of year they had drilled several temp wells offsite and collected samples. Samples contained detects of VOCs so
they were going to step out, but likely not going to conduct/perform the next round until spring. I haven't
heard from mike since December on that. Please advise. Purge or development water that is suspected
of being contaminated should be contained in drums and characterized for disposal. If lab results are ND,
then dumped on site in a perimeter ditch of the landfill is ok with me. Must characterize first and report.
Todd A. The plan includes the
installation of three montioring wells. The plan states that the purgre water from the well development will be
disposed of on the surface of the ground. Is that ok w/you, or should the disposal of the water wait until they
have confirmation of no voc's in the purge water. Thanks Robert
Robert McClellon,Program Coordinator REHS
Environmental Health Department
600 E.Main Street
Stockton,CA 95202
(209)468-0332
1/24/2012
