Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust ( slgov . org to arrange the following appointments ( a <br /> 48- hour notice is required for inspection appointments) . <br /> a . Verification of the dispenser footprints contained by the under dispenser <br /> containment sumps ( UDCs ) . Any potential leaks from piping and fuel filters must <br /> drain directly into UDCs . <br /> b . Visual inspection of the piping within the dispensers for any leaks <br /> c . Sensor functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code . A copy of the <br /> alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the " cold start" of the monitoring <br /> system and made available at the time of EHD inspection . <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible <br /> valid , current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board <br /> ( may be issued to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the <br /> individual by the State Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual <br /> physically present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST <br /> Service Technician certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) <br /> 1868 E .
