The UW lamps are being stored in an open container. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.33 Universal Waste Management <br /> Requirements for Batteries, Lamps, and Mercury-Containing Equipment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place all UW lamps into closed, structurally sound containers with labeling: <br /> "universal waste-lamps". Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Routine and complaint(C00053708) inspection conducted today. Leaking coolant container was cleaned up <br /> with absorbent. The absorbent was placed in their absorbent waste drum. The coolant containers were drained <br /> into their waste coolant drum and the empty containers were less than 5 gallons and placed into regular trash. <br /> All other containers in the cage were not damaged and placed on to shelves for sale. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 5/29/2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
