solvents, chlorinated solvents, and other unknown materials were taken <br />for disposal. <br />Several disposal trenches and burn pits where petroleum oil, lubricants, <br />calcium hypochlorite, post office waste, illicit narcotics, medical wastes, <br />tanks, drums, engine blocks, paper waste, military supplies, kitchen <br />waste, asphalt, soil, wood, and other unknown substances were taken for <br />disposal. <br />Dirt roads that were treated with waste oil for dust control. <br />Mill burner where refuse, paint cans, ether capsules, gas masks, and <br />packing materials were found. <br />Clothing disposal pit where radioactive clothing was taken for disposal. <br />Tank pit where steam-cleaning wastewater, empty paint and oil <br />containers were taken for disposal. <br />Battery acid disposal area containing lead-acid battery drainage waste <br />and PCB equipment rinse water. <br />Fire fighting training site that contained burned gasoline, aviation gas, <br />lubrication oil, stoddard solvent, TCE, and waste oil. <br />GSA damaged container storage area where containers of paint, lacquer, <br />paint thinner, DDT and solvents were taken for disposal. <br />North Railroad Yard and South Railroad Yard where materials such as <br />petroleum, oil, lubricants, tires, electrical supplies, aboveground storage <br />tank contents, drum contents were either stored/used or disposed at this <br />location. <br />Railroad car service pit that received railroad car maintenance liquids. <br />Various sumps that received coolant liquids, vehicle maintenance liquids, <br />and waste oil. <br />Storm drainage lines that received runoff from maintenance buildings and <br />agricultural areas. <br />Wastewater treatment plant for primary and secondary wastewater, <br />associated sludge drying beds, and drainage area. <br />Buried drainage where underground materials migrated from adjacent <br />sites. <br />South tank farm that contained petroleum, oil, lubricants, and electrical <br />supplies. <br />ROSENOW SPEVACEK GROUP, INC REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF STOCKTON <br />MAY 3, 2004 ROUGH AND READY ISLAND REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br />- B-15 - PRELIMINARY REPORT
