From each of the soil borings for the monitoring wells, two relatively undisturbed soil samples <br />will be collected from near the ground surface (0 to 6 inches bgs), and from the capillary fringe (expected <br />between 7 to 10 feet bgs). Soil samples collected from monitoring wells installed downgradient of the <br />proposed copper concentrate (MW-3) and existing petroleum coke stockpiles (MW-4) will be analyzed <br />for the for the following constituents: <br />Cam Metals - STLC's - EPA 6010 or 200.7; <br />Chlorinated Pesticides - EPA 8080; <br />Organophosphate Pesticides - EPA 8140; <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons - EPA 418.1; <br />Purgeable Halocarbons - EPA 8240; and <br />Purgeable Aromatic Halocarbons - EPA 8270. <br />Soil samples collected from the background (MW-1) and proposed sulphur storage area (MW-2) <br />monitoring wells will be analyzed for the constituents listed above plus the following: <br />Elemental Sulphur - EPA 6010; and <br />Sulphates - EPA 9030. <br />Groundwater samples will be analyzed for the following constituents: <br />CAM metals - Tmc - EPA 6010 or 200.7; <br />Chlorinated Pesticides and PCB's - EPA 608; <br />Organophosphate Pesticides - EPA 614; <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) - EPA 418.1; <br />Purgeable Halocarbons - EPA 601; <br />Purgeable Aromatic Halocarbons - EPA 602; <br />Elemental Sulphur - EPA 6010; <br />Sulfates - EPA 300; and <br />Sulfides - EPA 376.2. <br />PROP06.005 5 <br />DAMES & MOORE
