United Storage page 2
2115W. Washington St., Stockton.
Since contaminants were found in the groundwater that are not from a release
from a UST, EHD is referring your site to the SLIC Unit of the CVRWQCB and
the Site Mitigation Unit of DTSC for evaluation.
You should forward all pertinent data to these agencies at the addresses
contained in the 'correspondence copy' list at the end of this letter. You may
phone the CVRWQCB at (916) 255-3075, Wendy Cohen's office or the DTSC at
(916) 255-3727, Meagan Cambridge's office. These section leaders could
answer most of your questions concerning oversight and financial requirements
and clean up levels and procedures.
EHD will be available to issue the needed boring/well permit under the work plan
approved by one of these agencies.
Thank your for your cooperation and report submittal to our agency. You may
contact Michael Infurna, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3454 for boring permit
requirements and grout inspections.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Michael J.
