Limited Subsurface Phase II Investigation Work Plan <br />John Ray Company Property <br />2249 Waterloo Rd, Stockton, California <br />1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />At the request of Mr. Kirby Van Vleet of HANSON VAN VLEET, LLC, Advanced <br />GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Limited Subsurface Phase II Investigation Work <br />Plan for the John Ray Company property at 2249 Waterloo Road, Stockton, California(the site). The <br />work is being performed as part of a due diligence for a potential transfer of the property. The <br />location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br />This work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (EHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit, and is in accordance with Appendix <br />A to Tr-Regional Recommendations - Reporting, dated 30 August 1991, prepared by the Central <br />Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for the investigation of underground storage tank <br />(UST) sites. <br />2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br />AGE will advance two soil borings at the site to determine if any impacts are present as a result of <br />previous operations on and around the site. Soil samples will be collected from each boring; ground <br />water samples will be collected from selected borings. The limited subsurface investigation will <br />include the following tasks: <br />Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br />Soil sample collection and analysis; <br />Ground water sample collection and analysis; and <br />Report preparation <br />The site assessment tasks are discussed below. <br />2.1. PRE-FIELD WORK TASKS <br />A health and safety plan will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health <br />Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety <br />and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1985). <br />Prior to mobilization, the area of excavation will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained <br />through Underground Service Alert. <br />Advanced GcoEnvironmental, Inc.
