The emergency coordinator section was blank on the emergency contingency plan. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br /> arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by completing the emergency <br /> contingency plan with the emergency coordinator information. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: Designated facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests(UHWM) <br /> were not found on-site. The missing manifests are: <br /> -020793547JJK(10/30/2019) <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit a copy of the manifest <br /> to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)within 60 days if the destination facility signed <br /> manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate the the destination facility signed manifests listed above and maintain in the facility <br /> file for three years from the date of shipping.
